Orientation & Attendance
Orientation Policy
All students must attend Orientation in the fall. At that time, students meet with the Supervisor of the program and are presented with the Student Guidelines. These guidelines outline the rules and regulations of the program including penalties for non-compliance.
Student schedules are given out at the conclusion of Orientation.
Attendance Policy
The attendance policy for Bilingual Adult High School is strictly enforced and students are dropped from roll on their 6th absence in a class. However, students are allowed to attend their other classes in which they haven't violated the attendance policy.
Students are advised to save their five absences for serious/emergency situations. Doctors' notes cannot be used to excuse student beyond the five acceptable absences.
Students who do not report for the first week of school are dropped from role.
